History
Contributors to the Session identify this as an Irish Air, in their case, played as a jig. It is likely, though, to be an old English dance tune; "My Lodging Is In/On the Cold, Cold Ground", related to various others, such as "I Lo'e Nae a Laddie But Ane." It is generally played as a Waltz, sometimes played in a set with "The South Wind" and "Fanny Power". The lyrics are an 19th century poem by Thomas Moore.
